In September 2002, my then 6 year old daughter and I founded Jodie's Jiggley Piggley Farm.
As long time guinea pig owners, we were aware that they were frequently unappreciated
and forgotten animals, and our objective was to take in a few of these needy little squeakers.
Our snowballing project went from a few small cages on the basement counter, to two guinea pig
rooms often spilling over into the rest of the house! We soon developed this website,
held adoption events, fundraising activities and even had volunteers! Our little idea really took on a big life of it's own.

It is unfortunate that so many guinea pigs need rescuing!

This project proved to a fabulous experience for my young daughter and myself ,
but five years and 400+ guinea pigs later, we decided to scale down our rescue/adoption
efforts and reclaim our home.

Thus we now have The New Jiggley Piggley Farm!
Still offering adoptions of needy guinea pigs, but on a smaller scale
as well as......
